Matt Jones

Matt brings a unique blend of financial expertise, communication skills, and a passion for community engagement to GSS as a Senior Financial Manager. He returns to GSS after a period working in the non-profit world. Matt enjoys connecting with clients and professionals and strives to deliver the best service possible.

A native of Virginia, Matt moved to Seattle in 2017. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a degree in Communication, and for the first five years of his career he worked as a sports journalist, honing his skills in communication and analysis. He also has experience in marketing, communications, and fundraising roles. In May 2020 he joined GSS as a Financial Manager, a position he held through August 2022.

Outside the office, Matt is devoted supporter of his alma mater and also proudly cheers for the Seattle Seahawks and Gonzaga Bulldogs. An outdoors enthusiast, he shares adventures with his family and their golden retriever and pays it forward by mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound.
